About Tinkerby Games
Who is behind Tinkerby Games, an independent UK site reviewing online games, with no adverts, trackers or paid placements.
1What we do
Tinkerby Games reviews online games for players in the UK: games you play with friends, against strangers or in a browser tab. Each one is played online by us before it is rated, and every review says who you meet there and what it can cost.
2Why a server list
Online games are joined, not just bought, so we lay ours out the way a game client lists servers. Each row shows where a game runs, who you play with and how a session usually goes, and each one opens a full match report.
3Who plays and writes
A small group of long-time players who cover fighting games, racing, team shooters, co-op survival, board games and puzzle games, and who pay particular attention to chat settings and family controls.
4How the site is paid for
No adverts, affiliate links, sponsored reviews or products. We host no games, run no servers or accounts and take no payments, so no company has a reason to ask us for a better rating.
5Conflicts of interest
If a reviewer has a personal or professional link to a game, someone else reviews it and the page says so. We accept no gifts or trips in exchange for coverage.
6The pictures
Every cover is an original illustration made for this site in the visual style of its game. None of it is official artwork, a screenshot or a real person.
7Who runs the site
Tinkerby Games is run by Tinkerby Media Ltd, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
8Made for UK readers
British spelling, no pop-ups, no autoplaying video and no tracking. Prices and age ratings stay with the official sites, which keep them current.
